ANNOUNCEMENT PREPARING FOR GLOBAL KYC 1.6

The Rubi project team sends this announcement to the Rubimily miner community, this is an announcement about the implementation of KYC 1.6 with some notes about the current KYC 1.5.

CURRENT KYC PROBLEMS
Hello friend! If you remind about KYC 2.0, unfortunately, until now, we have not been able to announce anything about the implementation schedule of KYC 2.0 with the global authenticator mechanism. The main reason is that KYC 2.0 charges fees based on MnA, because the Mana A token is not ready, KYC 2.0 cannot be implemented!

But another issue is that in the past few weeks, RUBI Network suddenly became a top 20 application in many rankings, so KYC requests increased dramatically. Our KYC team of 14 people is always overloaded, but there are still tens of thousands of unresolved KYC accounts.

In this situation, increasing productivity is a must, while KYC 2.0 cannot be deployed yet, so we need to find a solution. We have discussed solutions for this situation, and the result is that we will upgrade KYC performance with an update that we call KYC 1.6. In this upgrade, there will be a number of improvements focused on increasing the efficiency of the number of verification staff, thereby handling a large number of KYC requests.

KYC 1.6 PLAN SCHEDULE

We will start building the KYC solution from March 25 as a priority target, the construction process is expected to take 60 to 90 days, with the goal of releasing a global KYC solution. Here is the expected schedule.

Step 1 • Discuss KYC 1.6 implementation rules
Step 2 • Conduct construction (from 25 Mar to 25 Jun )
Step 3 • Announce and guide on recruitment of validators
Step 4 • KYC process training via Zoom / Google Meet
Step 5 • KYC 1.6 release by the end of June

KEY POINTS ON KYC 1.6

• Continue to use RBL as a service fee with a KYC fee sharing mechanism.
• A large number of KYC staff are recruited from miners who have completed KYC before, then trained in the process and granted access to the function.
• Candidates who wish to become validators need to prepare a certain amount of RBL to stake as collateral for their job responsibilities.
• If you are a validator, you will be granted access and perform verification work on your mobile phone.
• Your remuneration will be paid immediately every Sunday afternoon (UTC time).

So, KYC 1.6 is a version that inherits the advantages of KYC 1.5, and adds improvements focused on enhanced productivity, creating a decentralized working mechanism on mobile devices instead of the centralized mechanism of KYC 1.5.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO?

If you are a miner who only needs KYC for your account, then you do not need to do anything, you can continue with KYC 1.5 or wait for KYC 1.6 and enjoy!

If you want to become a KYC verifier, this is the information for you.
• This is a part-time flexible job, you get paid based on your performance and are paid in digital assets.
• You need to complete KYC verification, read and understand the information security commitments and undergo a short training
• You need to prepare some RBL to stake, guaranteeing the right to work, the stake will be refunded when you finish the job.
• You have the right to request to stop participating in the KYC program at any time.

KYC 1.5 IS GOING ON STILL

 For KYC 1.5, it will continue until KYC 1.6 is applied. To date, we have sent out more than 365,000 KYC invitations, and completed about 145,000 KYCs. Currently, the KYC team with 14 employees is always overloaded with work, although we still maintain the work, but due to the pressure of overload, we will apply the following restrictions!!

• We will delay sending more KYC invitations in version 1.5
With a large number of KYC invitations waiting, we will limit sending more invitations to prioritize resolving the backlog.

• KYC 1.5 completion time is no longer as committed
Miners who have qualified for KYC and accepted the invitation, please note that we do not guarantee the completion time as committed in the KYC service, we will try our best but do not commit to the time.

CONCLUSION
KYC is an important step for you to confirm that you and the Rubi Network community are partners, partners will work together to build and achieve common blockchain economic benefits.

 Unlike other value guarantee models such as PoW or PoS, for the PoC, PoP community economic model, KYC is a mandatory, important and indispensable activity. Therefore, upgrading the KYC solution to 1.6 is an important goal and has a high priority.

We hope that with the implementation of KYC 1.6, the issue of user verification will achieve new steps, helping the network expand the list of miner partners.
