ANOUCEMENT FOR COMMUNITY OPINION

Hello Rubimily mining community! We are pleased to announce the plan to gather feedback from the community on the "KYC1.5 or KYC2.0 Version Selection Voting Event".

The purpose of this event is to decide which version of KYC the community will consider based on the rights and interests of each miner, and to prioritize the development of the chosen KYC version.

There is a significant difference between the two versions, KYC1.5 and KYC2.0, which we previously analyzed in detail in a comparative article (learn more).

Therefore, we are conducting this vote to determine which version the mining community will prioritize for advancement!

The voting results will lead to one of the following two outcomes:

• Outcome 1: Vote for KYC1.5 - it will take about 2 weeks to upgrade the KYC1.1 Global version to KYC1.5 Global and may be released in early April. However, this will come at the expense of KYC2.0 not being released as scheduled in June.

• Outcome 2: Vote for KYC2.0 - this means there will be no temporary update version. Instead, the development team will have sufficient time to develop KYC2.0 and launch it in June.

METHOD OF VOTING

We will create polls on Rubi's official communication channels, including Telegram, Zalo (for Vietnamese users), and Twitter. We encourage all miners to participate in sharing your own perspective and interests.

❖ (A) or (B) Option
Since we have two voting options, KYC1.5 and KYC2.0, the numbers 1.5 and 2.0 may lead to subjective bias (due to the tendency to favor larger numbers like 2.0>1.5), causing confusion in the choices. Therefore, we will change the options on the polling channels to KYC1.5 = KYC(A) and KYC2.0 = KYC(B) to ensure equal footing between A and B. Voters will need to understand what (A) and (B) represent to optimize objectivity and lead to a responsible voting process based on informed understanding.

TIMEFRAME FOR COLLECTING FEEDBACK:

The feedback collection process will take place from 17:30 UTC on March 22, 2024, to 17:30 UTC on March 24, 2024.

The total duration will be 48 hours to ensure sufficient time for all participating members to understand each option and make their choice.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF RESULTS:
The final results will be announced approximately 2 hours after the feedback collection activity concludes. Screenshots of the results and links to the polls will be captured and updated here, directly within this post.
